Educational Assessment

Your local school district can assess your child free of charge. If you feel your child has a learning disability, then you can write your district a letter requesting an assessment. They are required to respond to you in writing within 15 days, either with an assessment plan or a denial letter. In the event you desire a private evaluation, then Maggie does provide comprehensive assessments.

Educational Counseling

Ms. Williams provides educational counseling to students experiencing emotional or behavioral difficulty that is interfering with their ability to succeed at school. At this time, Maggie's services are not covered through an insurance carrier.

Behavior Intervention

Maggie develops behavior plans that can be utilized either at home or school, such that your student engages in more appropriate and positive behaviors. This process includes observations and interviews which lead to the development of a positive behavior support plan.
